Recently we have begun to study various cultures in our world. You will work with your group to explore the Japanese culture and traditions.
In one month from today you will be hosting a Japanese student in your home. To make him feel welcome you will need to do some research.
Questions you will need to answer
1)What type of food does he like?
2)How do you say common words and phrases in Japanese?
3)Where in Japan is he from and what is it like there?
4)Are there traditions/rituals that he follows?
5)What sports or hobbies do Japanese children play?
STANDARD 6.6 (Geography) All students will apply knowledge of spatial relationships and other geographic skills to understand human behavior in relation to the physical and cultural environment
